What do Life-Cycle Celebrants believe?
The title “Celebrant” is a profession, not a belief system. The beliefs of the Celebrant are completely irrelevant to your ceremony. All ceremonies are crafted with you, the client, in mind. In short, it is your beliefs that matter, and are honored by a Life-Cycle Celebrant.
Who should choose a Celebrant?
Well, if you ask a Celebrant, the answer will be, “Everyone!” Many people will choose a Celebrant because they are marrying outside of their faith and their clergy won’t represent them. Others have no religious affiliation at all, and find it difficult to find someone to marry them if they aren’t members of a congregation. Still others have heard about the craftsmanship that goes into a Celebrant led ceremony and prefer the extra effort and attention that is offered.
Why does a Celebrant ceremony cost more?
As mentioned before, Life-Cycle Celebrants are artists and craftspeople. A tremendous amount of time and effort goes into writing your wedding. Many hours in fact. The level of service you receive goes far beyond what you will get with the typical Justice of the Peace ceremony. Is the extra expense worth it? You can bet on it!
Are you an event planner?
Event planning is typically a function of the folks running your venue or the focus of a separate person who specializes in organizing your entire day. But I can certainly help your planner and your other wedding professionals with such things as processional/recessional arrangement, music cue sheets, photography and other items directly related to the ceremony itself.
What are your fees and why don’t you list them?
There are many factors that go into pricing. Price really depends on what you want. Once I have an idea of your needs I can quote you a price. The best first step is for us to meet and be sure I’m the right Celebrant for your wedding. All we need is 30-45 minutes over coffee, chai, or even craft beer if you like. Please contact me to set up a meeting time.
Where will you do services?
I am conveniently located near Golden and Lakewood, Colorado. This gives me easy access to greater metro Denver and most of the towns along the Front Range. We can discuss destination weddings if that is something that interests you.
