Memorials and Celebrations of Life
Often times, for a variety of reasons, the family may want to wait a longer time before holding a service for your loved one. A memorial can be held in addition to a funeral or in place of one, but at a later date. Sometimes memorials are held as long as the one year anniversary of the death. No matter the reason for a later date, having a Celebrant perform this service can make a world of difference.
Ash Scattering Ceremonies
Nearly half of all people in The United States are choosing cremation. Ash scattering can be very symbolic and a deeply moving experience. It is the final committal of your loved one’s earthly remains. You can also choose to have an inurnment ceremony where the urn containing the ashes is laid to rest in a cemetery.
Please note that in Colorado a permit may be required to scatter ashes depending on the location. In some places like controlled land areas such as city parks it might be prohibited. Permits are required to scatter ashes in all national parks.
Pet Memorials
Some might scoff, but as a pet owner I understand completely. Our pets are an important part of our families, and honoring our animal friends when they pass can help with the healing process. I will create a beautiful ceremony that is tailored to you and your pet.
Every life has an important story, let me tell it…
